DAY 2

It e is a second day of a training in Netherland. The training was conducted at Groningen,Mediacentrale.
The following are the area covered:

• RSS feeds and setup your own Bloglines newsreader account;
• The result on this lectures can be viewed at my blogline. i.e Alexander
• Application of Igoogle tools in which can be used to gather useful links . my igoogle
• Locating a few useful library related blogs and/or news feeds;
• About tagging and discover a Del.icio.us (a social bookmaking site);
• General concept on how tags works with blog posts
• Readind a few perspectives on Web 2.0, Library 2.0 and the future of libraries
• Learn about wikis and discover some innovative ways that libraries are using them;
• Add an entry to the Learning 2.0 SandBox wiki;
• Techniques and exercises in Google. http://www.learnwebskills.com/search/google.html (open in IE or Safari);

The program end at 17.00pm.

DAY 1

The day started with a nice breakfast at Martini Hotel. Soon after the breakfast we had a introduction on the modules to be covered , i.e general overview of all the Training at Groningen City.
Mr Niek leads the team . Soon after the introduction we have given an assignment to create our own Blogs in which will be used for reporting daily activities

At 11.00 we went to the Public Library locate in a City near to Groningen Universty in which learn a lot about

My journey started on Wednesday morning at 06.00am where I take a Bus from Tpsc Tabora Campus to Dar es Salaam. I spend two days in Dar before travelling to NL










I arrived at Amsterdam on Sunday at 07.25 with KLM Airways. In this Flight takes amost 9hrs and 05 minutes from Dar es Salaam Airport to Amsterdam International Airport


At theAirport, Migration Officer officer stoped us for a while until Leonoor Akkermans came to justify some issues letated to a trip. Thank you very much L. Akkermans

It takes another 2.30hrs to travell by Train from Amsterday to Groningen City,Where we found Mr Niek Huizeng and Mr. Roel Schreibers waiting for us.
